Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) outlines the rules and guidelines for using the Zone Logic platform (“Service”). It is designed to ensure the platform is used responsibly, securely, and in compliance with applicable laws.

2. Authorized Use

Zone Logic is intended for legitimate security operations, reporting, and organizational management activities, including:

  • Incident reporting and documentation
  • Security and activity logging
  • Visitor and contractor management
  • Package tracking and lost & found management
  • Asset, equipment, and key tracking

Users must only use the Service for authorized business purposes.

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Service to:

3.1 Illegal or Harmful Use

  • Violate any local, state, federal, or international laws
  • Store or distribute unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent content
  • Engage in harassment, threats, or abusive behavior

3.2 Unauthorized Access

  • Attempt to gain access to accounts, systems, or data not assigned to you
  • Circumvent authentication or security measures
  • Use another user’s credentials without permission

3.3 Data Misuse

  • Upload or store sensitive personal data without proper authorization
  • Share confidential or restricted information with unauthorized parties
  • Use data collected through the platform for non-approved purposes

3.4 System Abuse

  • Interfere with or disrupt the performance of the Service
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or malicious code
  • Attempt to overload, scan, or probe the system for vulnerabilities

3.5 Misrepresentation

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Impersonate another individual or organization
  • Falsify reports, logs, or operational data

4. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials
  • Ensuring data entered is accurate and appropriate
  • Following internal organizational policies and procedures
  • Using the platform in a professional and ethical manner

Organizations are responsible for managing user access and permissions.

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

Zone Logic reserves the right to:

  • Monitor usage to ensure compliance with this Policy
  • Investigate suspected violations
  • Suspend or terminate access for violations

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any misuse or violation of this Policy, you should report it immediately to:
